Crafted by the skilled blender Chris Clark, Sherry Edition has all the same quality of Black Label but with a rich, fruity twist. A portion of the blend has been matured in former Sherry Casks which gives the blend a rich, fruity, more approachable flavour. 40% 70cl

The initially controversial 16yo official expression of Scapa is now winning people round with a jump in quality after a few wobbly years following the rapid transition from the much-loved 12yo via the short-lived 14yo. Orkney's less shouted about (but still lovely in its own way) malt whisky has found its feet. 40% 70cl
The Commemorative 1745 porcelain Wade decanted from Drambuie Liqueur Ltd, produced to commemorate the raising of the Jacobite standard at Glenfinnan on the 19th August 1745. President Scotch whisky was first registered in Brazil in 1944, then in Venezuela in 1955; subsequent trademarks for other markets followed in the late 1950s and 1960s, including Hong Kong and Japan. The word 'President' had been trademarked in the United Kingdom in 1906 (not for whisky) but it wasn't assigned to Macdonald Greenlees until 1965. President apparently replaced another Greenlees brand, Supreme Liqueur, which was withdrawn after the Second World War when a general prohibition was imposed on the use of the word 'liqueur' for whiskies following protests from liqueur producers.
A classic from Johnnie Walker; their Red Label blend has long been a favourite of many whisky drinkers around the world. This is a 75 cl bottle of the aforementioned expression which we believe was produced in the 1990s and comes alongside its original presentation box. 43% 75cl
Another release of Four Roses' Limited Edition Single Barrel from 2013. The recipe used to create this is selected by Master Distiller Jim Rutledge from the 10 recipes that go into their whiskeys. This edition is bottled at 62.9%. 70cl.
Johnnie Walker Gold Label is a blend of 15 different whiskies which each are all at least 18 years old, with Clynish as the biggest contribution. Johnnie Walker Gold Label was created by Sir Alexander Walker in 1920 to celebrate the founding of the company hundred years earlier. Although discontinued during the war due to shortage of blending stocks, the label was reintroduced in 1992, with a blend based upon the original blending notes left by Sir Alexander seventy-five years earlier. This is the 1992 release, later replaced by ‘Centenary Blend’. 40% 75cl
Considered by many to be the jewel in the crown of the Jack Daniels stable, Silver Select is bottled at a significantly higher strength, resulting in a greater intensity of flavour. A full-on Tennessee whiskey experience. 50% 70cl
WhistlePig is a fantastic brand of straight rye whisk(e)y which is distilled and initially matured in Canada before being aged further, at the WhistlePig Farm in Vermont. The Master Distiller for WhistlePig is Dave Pickerell, who was the Master Distiller for Maker's Mark for 14 years (so you know he's good). Their 10 year old straight rye is made with 100% rye and delivers a full-on flavour profile of clove, mint, barrel char, creamy caramels and butterscotch. Properly excellent stuff.
A Buffalo Trace bourbon from their Single Oak Project, a fascinating undertaking from the Kentucky distillers which investigates the variables of bourbon production. This includes details about the cask, including which part of the tree it came from, the thickness of the wood grain, how long the staves were seasoned for and the char level, as well as entry proof and mash bill of the whiskey, and even the position in the warehouse!
There are 192 different whiskeys in the Single Oak Project - which Buffalo Trace are hoping you visit their website to contribute your notes about the edition(s) you taste. The Buffalo Trace Single Oak Project bourbons come presented in 37.5cl bottles.
This small batch bourbon is named after Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, an incredibly important figure in bourbon's history from the 1800s who owned a whole host of distilleries and innovated production methods which are still used today. It's only right that the Colonel EH Taylor Small Batch lives up to his name by being absolutely amazing.
As the name indicates, this is a small batch whiskey comprised of selected whiskey barrels which were aged in Warehouse C. constructed by Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr in 1881. This bourbon is also a bonded whiskey which means that the bourbon was distilled in one season, aged for at least 4 years and bottled at 50% ABV.
An excellent brand owned by Buffalo Trace that uses similar methods and recipes to the ones Colonel E. H. Taylor introduced and improved during his time as a bourbon distiller in the late 1800s. The Single Barrel release is made with specially selected barrel exclusively aged in Warehouse C, which Taylor built himself in 1881! What a guy. This single barrel bourbon is aged for 11 years and 7 months in Warehouse C and is bottled-in-bond at 100 proof.
Stagg Jr. Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey: barrel proof, uncut, unfiltered. A robust whiskey, aged for nearly a decade, bottled at 67.20% vol (134.4 proof!). A great and rare Bourbon Whiskey from Buffalo Trace!
Four Roses Single Barrel is a Bourbon, 8 years old, handpicked by Jim Rutledge. This 43% version was distilled in August 1999 and bottled March 2007 at a time Four Roses already upgraded their Single Barrel to the current 50% version.
In Kentucky, buffalo carved a pathway followed by America’s first explorers. Those brave pioneers distilled whiskey using traditional methods and drank it right off the still. They called it White Dog. This raw distillate was clear, un-aged and had a hint of sweet corn. Later distillers discovered this spirit was perfect for aging - creating what we know today as fine Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. We’re still making whiskey on the spot where ancient buffalo once crossed the Kentucky River and following centuries of time-honored distilling tradition. Enjoy this White Dog the way Americans did more than 200 years ago.
Named after Master Distiller Emeritus Elmer T. Lee, this whiskey is hand selected and bottled to the taste and standards of Elmer T. Lee himself. Perfectly balanced and rich, as declared by the man who knows how great bourbon should taste. Tasting Notes: The nose brings notes of clover, vanilla, and old leather. The flavor balances fruit, honey and vanilla with a light spiciness. A long and warm finish.
A small batch, 91 proof, handcrafted Kentucky straight bourbon whisky. Old Pogue was the flagship product of the original H.E. Pogue Distillery in 1876 and is also the first product released by the modern Pogue Distillery. The product was fashioned after an original bottle of Old Pogue that remained in the family for over a century. This easy-drinking bourbon can be enjoyed neat or with a small amount of ice or water.
Often out of stock and hard to find, this 9 year old Kentucky straight bourbon is a delight. On the nose, spicy grain notes with rye prominently placed alongside vanilla and toffee. The palate shows some soft dark fruits, wood spice, and a pleasant dose of rye. The finish lingers with clove, vanilla, and dark fruits. A wonderful sipper and perfect with a cigar.
A special extension of the Johnnie Walker range, King George V celebrates the first Royal Warrant granted to John Walker and Sons Ltd to supply Scotch whisky to the British Royal Household in 1934, and is apparently designed to recreate how JW might have tasted back in the day. Some Port Ellen has been used, alongside Cardhu, Lochnagar and some very old grain whisky.
Completing this two-part series, which also included Highland Park Ice Edition, is the Highland Park Fire Edition! Celebrating Muspelheim, the glowing Norse fire realm of destruction, this 15 year old single malt was matured in refill Port casks before being bottled at 45.2% abv. It's presented in a cradle shaped like a mountain (or is it a volcano this time?).
Following on from The Valhalla Collection, this new limited edition Highland Park will also come with a cradle, which will be shaped like a mountain as opposed to a longship.
Matured mostly in bourbon casks, it's profile is said to most resemble Freya, although this release is in honour of the Ice Realm of Niflheim (hence the cut blue glass bottle). This land of perpetual ice and cold is home to the frozen river of Elivágar and the well of Hvergelmir! There are Nine Worlds in Norse mythology, but this two-part series is completed by Highland Park Fire Edition.
A 1 litre bottling of Famous Grouse 16 Year Old Double Matured, which is finished in a combination of first fill Spanish Sherry casks and first fill American bourbon casks. The renowned large game bird on the label has also been given a makeover by illustrator Vic Lee.
An excellent collectible - this is a 1970s bottling of Johnnie Walker Swing, which is named after the motion the bottle makes when pushes. Very cool indeed. It even comes with the original old & rare presentation box! First created in 1932, we estimate this particular bottle dates from the 1970s.
Johnnie Walker Red Label ca. 1970's 75cl; Very Old Bottle including original box!!
An antique bottle of Johnnie Walker Red Label, one of the most well known blended whiskies worldwide. Well preserved since it was produced in the 1970s, this would be an excellent piece in a spirits collection.
W. L. Weller is the original wheated bourbon and is made with a unique recipe at Buffalo trace.
This has been bottled at 107 proof and used to carry a 7 year age statement but this has now been removed.
This is produced in a very similar manner to Pappy Van Winkle 10 Year Old as it has the same mash bill and produced at the same distillery.
A classic straight rye whiskey, named for the New Orleans coffee house which was the birthplace of the eponymous cocktail - the one and only Sazerac. While it was originally made with Cognac, the Sazerac is particularly popular with a rye whisky (such as this fine example from the Buffalo Trace distillery) at its core.
